THE SOUTH BAY BOMBERS ARE GOING FOR A 5PEAT!!!!

The Masons of California are teaming up with the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the San Diego Padres to bring the fun of baseball to more kids. Each region is facing off in friendly competition to help the most kids they can, through each MLB team’s foundation. The team from each region that funds the greatest number of baseball mitts will publicly present their check, along with the grand master, on Masons Night at the ballpark in AT&T Park in San Francisco, Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, and Petco Park in San Diego.

Join us for Masons Night

Masons 4 Mitts in partnership with the Junior Giants. The Junior Giants, a program of the Community Fund, serves more than 15,000 children and has more than 5,000 volunteer coaches. They started in 1994 to teach confidence, integrity, leadership, and teamwork to at-risk youth. The Junior Giants now have more than 70 leagues of boys and girls ages 5 to 18, from Stockton to Eureka. Currently, only about 30 percent of the Junior Giants kids have their own baseball mitts. Our goal is to provide 2,500 mitts this year!  The Junior Giants can leverage their buying power to purchase baseball mitts for $20 each. If 2,500 of the 10,000 Bay Area Masons make a personal $20 gift, we can achieve our goal – and bring America’s national past time to 2,500 Bay Area kids.

Our 2015 campaign has officially closed and we are excited to have raised enough to give mitts to almost 8,000 children statewide!

Masons4Mitts is a program of the Masons of California that works with Major League Baseball teams and their charitable foundations to help under-served youth in California. Each baseball season, the Masons of California team up with the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the San Diego Padres to bring the fun of baseball to more kids. Lodges in each region face off in friendly competition to help the most kids they can. The team from each region that funds the greatest number of baseball mitts will present their check, along with the grand master, on Masons Night at each ballpark.

Over the past seven years, the Masons of California have provided over $500,000 to these programs.

Check back here on Opening Day – April 2016!
