Walk MS (Multiple Sclerosis) – Silicon Valley 2016 – Payton’s Walk Team
Friendship Lodge is a proud supporter of “Walk MS”. Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS) made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. Today, new treatments and advances in research are giving hope to people affected by the disease. As you know, several members our lodge has been touched by this disease. The Walk for MS is the rallying point of the community coming together to raise funds and celebrate hope for the future. The MS society is working to find a cure to this disease and Friendship Lodge is joining to this effort.
