Just a final email letting everyone know that Walk MS is THIS SATURDAY (4/23/16). It is being held at Vasona Park (check-in is at 8:00AM) the walk starts at 9:00AM! PLEASE sign up online (for free) at http://www.tinyurl.com/walkms2016.
Our team will be in “tent city” under the orange canopy labeled Payton’s Walk Team. Join us there before the walk so we can try and get a team photo!
After the walk we will be having a team BBQ.  If you would like to come PLEASE let me know by Thursday so we can make sure there is enough food for everyone.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.

Friendship Lodge is a proud supporter of Payton’s Walk Team  and “Walk MS”.

Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS) made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another.  Today, new treatments and advances in research are giving hope to people affected by the disease. As you know, several members our lodge has been touched by this disease. The Walk for MS is the rallying point of the community coming together to raise funds and celebrate hope for the future. The MS society is working to find a cure to this disease and Friendship Lodge is joining to this effort.
